Model : SKS-45
Caliber: 7.62×39mm M43

The SKS (Самозарядный карабин системыСимонова = Samozaryadnyj Karabin Simonova = Simonov Self-loading Carbine) was designed by famous Russian arms designer Simonov. First prototypes were built and officially adopted by the Soviet Army service in the early 1945.
Two Years later the Soviets rather quickly phased the SKS carbine out of first-line service, replaced by the AK-47, but remained in second-line service for decades afterwards. It remains a ceremonial arm today by the various Russian Honor Guards.
The SKS was one of the first weapons chambered for the 7.62×39mm M43 round later used in the AK-47 and RPK.

It was widely exported and produced by the former Eastern Bloc nations, as well as China, where it was designated the “Type 56″, East Germany as the “Karabiner S” and in North Korea as the “Type 63″.

This SKS that most likely was intended for by the Soviet Army is without a doubt the most pretty SKS I have ever seen and absolutely mint/new condition. It had a laminate stock with excellent finish and polish to a perfection. He was manufactured in 1954. All metal parts are milled and not stamped and maintains the 100% of original finish . The metal’s finish overall the entire carbine is a strong 100% and appears to be unissued . All the serial numbers match and he came with original sling.
