Sabre-Bayonet Bersaglieri 1839
Adopted for the carbines “La Marmora” issued on 1839.
Straight one edged blade .
With a brass cast handle, held to the blade with an iron button screwed.
Grip smooth beak ending. Between the blade and the crossguard there is a brass rosette.
The grip from the side bears a long tongue “T” with a spring-tooth blade and arrest for the attachment of the bayonet to the rifle .
