This bayonet (Janzen 156-1) is identical to the German second Model 98S and have been designated as Peruvian Model 1909S by some collectors.
The only difference between the German and the Peruvian Models is that there is a serial number stamped on the crossguard and the Peruvian Crest in a circle stamped on the end of the pommel.
This bayonet is manufactured by Simpson & Co. Suhl but also by P.D. Luneschloss.
